There was a similar story about a guy in his 70s who ate nothing but Oscar Meyer hot dogs and bologna for decades. He still worked 8 hours a day and was in decent shape for an old man.

A super cold bottle of Coke is pretty damn good though.

Coke in Croatia is different than Coke in the US. It does not have HFCS like Coke does in the US. Regular sugar is not nearly as bad for you.

US government corn subsidies and protective tariffs on foreign sugar imports make High-Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) much cheaper than sugar. That is why it is in almost everything in the US. It is destroying the average American's health.

oh yes, i agree that it is bad for health and i almost never consume it. when i do i find that it tastes strange, real syrupy and thick.

i was not aware of why it's in everything though. i though white sugar would be cheaper to use.

That's why I stopped drinking soda. Not that sugar is great for you either. They sell Coke from Mexico at Costco. It's in bottles and has no HFCS. A little expensive though.

Serious? I wish they did that here. Sugar doesn't bother me but HFCS makes me gain weight instantly, I have to avoid it like crazy. Otherwise I would drink a few cokes a day but I have like one a month.
