Like most things the IRS does, its slanted towards families with two kids. Single people (that is, the intelligent amoung us) are always left high and dry by this worthless organization. Trust me, you are much better off itemizing these deductions espically if you used long distance service more than a couple of times a month.

Hell, during two of those years I was doing some heavy duty marketing (trying to sell, of all things, long distance service) and I was racking up a phone bill of $500 every single months on cold calls.
So what about the other 80 years that they have collected this illegal tax? They get to keep those? The courts say yes, I say no. This year, Uncle Sam, I'm gonna really work on padding those deductions.
