I finally went by Circuit City today...

And those bastards are selling EVERYTHING. The prices are still too high even marked down 30%. Even the stealing censors when you walk out the door had a price tag on them.

I managed to pick up and Wireless N router that Amazon is selling for $160 at 50% off of the original price, so for $100 it was a nice score.

        Spend you some brain.

Where's the best place to buy an LCD TV nowadays? I'm looking to get another one soon.
I feel like I paid too much at Best Buy.

We have a local shop that has lifetime service, free installation and will match the big box stores.

We buy there and have also purchased from TigerDirect.com

Try buying your next TV at Amazon, BUT you need to make sure Amazon is the one actually fulfilling the order. The benefits of buying from Amazon?

                    - Free Shipping
                    - No Sales Tax no matter what state you live in (which in CA is almost 9%)
                    - They deliver it to your door, take it out of the box for you, set it up, make sure everything is AOK and then haul the boxes away. It's their White Glove service and it's free.

Here's the info from the site:

Free Enhanced Delivery on HDTVs 40 Inches or Larger When You Purchase from Amazon.com

A representative of the carrier will bring your TV to any room suitable for testing, unpack it, and ensure that it is working properly to guarantee no damage occurred during transportation.

Televisions 27 to 40 inches receive scheduled delivery to your door. Televisions smaller than 27 inches are delivered using Amazon.com's standard shipping services and are eligible for FREE Super Saver Shipping.

Free shipping options apply only to purchases made from or fulfilled by Amazon.com. Does not apply to purchases made from other merchants on the Amazon.com website.

                    Hope that helps!
                    -Chi.

Be careful. I just read an article that all sales are final.

A few people bought TVs with busted glass and can't take them back and the maker won't cover it under warranty. Can't chargeback either because they filed for bankruptcy and have protection. I guess chargebacks somehow fall under that.
