I almost broke my neck/spine at Kaena Point. My first time bodysurfing and my buddies choose that fucking dangerous place.. Got rolled and slammed my second time out - trying to get past the break.

I was in hawaii in the Navy from late '81 to '85, first at SUBASE Pearl, then on USS Conserver, ARS-39.
