He did a lot of good for wildlife and animals in general. Not only down under, but all across the world. He was truly passionate about the cause and you always knew that his heart was in it and he had a true love for animals. It's a sad day as the world lost a truly good person.Comment

It was a freak accident...a one in a million chance as stingrays don't "attack"
Even stepping on one in the sand as I've done, you would have to be kicking up the sand to get stung.... it must have been the sharp barb in exactly the "wrong" spot rather than the venom that got him.
He was a great ambassador and even got me laid on more than one occasion when I used to tell naive non-aussie girls I was his cousin.
