    GFY has Gone from average to MISERABLE over the few months

    I use to fucking love this place but the place is getting fucked up by fucktards posting around 400 posts a day and people who think they really hit the head of the nail when they post their ignorent shit. amoung other things I am hating posts regarding:

    #search for failure and or miserable on google. - so outdated as possible
    #big news about blah blah blah - no one cares shit.
    #fake moronic drama
    #people thinking they are something they aren't (JimTheFiend) ect. ect.
    #dipshit postwhores like squishytwink who think it's a honest work to be a postwhore LOL. 400+ posts a day makes you nothing but a moron. (and a broke one since you chose to do something like this)
    #Drama by crybabies who think they have been mistreated and don't understand they - themselves, are the problem.

    This takes up like 90% of the posts and the threads that has acutally informative or exiting reading in them are down to 1%

    the rest of the posts are not all bad but still nothing that justifies checking gfy twice a day as I do atm. (contests, spam me with, epassporte garbage)

      This aint artistic place nor place to gather memories , this is a business where the owner of the boards sell ads while webmaster sell their sigs and everyone are happy , that's the bottom line . If fake dramas or bullshit threads are making money to someone , they keep them going . If you dont agree with that you should find yourself a difference type of business .

                  I am of course aware that the board makes more money the more people post nin general, but at some point the line can get crossed and the big webmasters starts to leave because there too much annoyance and not enough useful stuff.

                  and if they are unlucky and more people start leaving this place they will end up with postwhores and small timers and the adds they sell will drop dramasticly in value since the affiliates they get by advertising here are nobodies sending a sale every other week.

                                                                          I agree with some of the sentiments of your post, but then, when the adult industry is getting squeezed more - both from legal pressure, increased competition within the industry itself, people getting tired of seeing the same old 1996 paysite and the lines between the adult industry and mainstream entertainment industry blurring evermore, you are going to see more problems and less solutions.

                                                                          I don't think the problem is the influx of new people, i think the "problem" is that the more established members are working harder at their actual jobs, and so having less time to peruse GFY, and hence next to no time to even enter into frivolous threads.

If I wanted to know what happend today in the news I would turn on CNN or the Local channels. If I gave a shit about the car that you bought I would ask to see a pic.
                                                                                                                      I guess that people have alot more time on their hands to just sit around and bullshit instead of try and promote their programs , give advice and sell their services.

I think what really happens is that people simply get bored and start seeing the material differently.

                                                                                                                          Face it, primarily this is a newbie/surfer board. What else could it be with this name? Because of the amount of traffic, a lot of sponsors post their announcements here, but otherwise the frequent posters are almost all bottom-feeders.

                                                                                                                          The other reality is that most boards which tried to stay on track as it were, have all but died. Make of that what you will in terms of what it says about this business...

If this board allowed us to talk only pure business and nothing else, well, do I really need to tell you what it would be like here?

I've found that in general most of the stuff on adult webmaster boards has allways consisted of 90% spam & bullshit and 10% usefull & informative but since there are now so many boards out there that that 10% of good stuff is spread out between many more boards it's harder to track down.

                                                                                                                                                                      I have to disagree Franck, Sometimes you can find extremely usefull info on these boards, some drunk webmaster who can't keep his mouth shut or somebody who just can't keep his mouth shut gives away very usefull info but even then you must read between the lines. That is my main reason I visit these boards but I must admit that I have to read 1000 garbage posts before I find some usefull info. Now that we have squishy I have to read 1400 posts before I find usefull info wich is a shame.

                                                                                                                                                                      The promo's, contests and announcements from program owners or affiliate reps are also welcome.

                                                                                                                                                                      The other boards are floaded with newbies asking for advice and help and you only find information you already are aware of.

                                                                                                                                                                      I don't like all the (keybord)fighting that goes on here, it's so unprofessional.
