Well I have a pretty educated guess as I worked in the automotive field for 13 years, and have been working on cars since I was old enough to hold a wrench. So not sure what that has to do with saving a ho, but ya. If there is no other combustible matter, and there is fuel vapor and it ignites, it goes flash, boom. The pressure from the combustion goes poof and makes all the air around it expand. As said by another above essentially putting it self out within seconds. Of course Im sure someone could of jimmied the hood and put a small c4 charge and waited for the opportune moment as Joe went into best buy to detonate it. Cue the music from 24, and call in Jack Bower. Sheesh lol
