Go with anything made by IBM and stay away from PC World like the plague - they'll only end up selling you something shit that doesn't work.

Now that Apple Intel processors, and you can use Bootcamp, I'd go with a Mac Book Pro, but then again, I'm biased.

does all that stuff work well now?

what about driver support once you're in windows for all the hardware? (video, especially?)

and whats that new thing that lets you run both at the same time in VMs? is that out yet?

Unless you are going to really use it for mobile I would never get a laptop again. They all fall apart in a little over a year from my personal experiences and friends ...

Anyway buy from an online reputable company, such as from here, plenty of laptops to choose from:
                                              UK Laptops
$9.95/month for 15000 GB bandwidth monthly, unlimited (sub)domains and MySQL5, PHP4/5, 500 GB disk storage! ; use any of these invitation codes: 216263692101; 408636009193; 846090586647; my ICQ 30160426!

Try SONY VAIO. I have a 17" one and it's great. Try to get the latest models with duo core.
