    Our favorite Senator who calls the internet a series of tubes, builds half a billion dollar bridges to nowhere, and refused to hold off on some of his pork barrell spending to help Katrina victims is now putting a secret hold on a bill that would make public government spending patterns.

    Apparently in a democratic society, Ted Stevens doesn't want us to know what shit he's spending our money on.

                                                      I think some of you may know about his "Bridges to nowhere" where he spent hundreds of millions to build bridges to towns of 25 people. Well after Katrina, they asked him to cut some of the funding for the bridges and allocate the money to Katrina relief, he threatened to resign from the Senate and had a huge fit over it.
