I understand what you are trying to accomplish here, but it could possibly create a conflict of interest for an employee. I expect our employees to seek out the best deals possible for our traffic. If that is you, and they want to start sending you traffic, then put the $500 in MY pocket and let me worry about appropriate compensation for that employee.

If you've worked (unsucessfully) to do a deal with a rep in the past, but got it now because of the $500 bribe --- won't that make the rep look unethical to his employer? Whether the deal makes sense or not, it casts doubt on the rep's motivation for the deal. If a sponsor throws a party with free booze or food for ALL, he should only do it for promotion and branding. It is unreasonable to expect every person to "repay" for attending.
