The thing that concerns me about Thunderball is the owner is just as unstable as all hell. He just flips out. Why put your business in the hands of someone like that ?
TB is a good idea, and about the right complexity, and has prompted me and other associates to come up with a more workable system which is functional if not needing a few of the bells and whistles. One big departure from thunder-ball's way of doing things is allowing feedback on traders and some sort of reputation system that is sorely lacking in TB to identify bad traders and people who make a habit of pulling links.IW

1st off I don't know where you got that info about myself not being involved with tbn any longer...
The only thing that I can recall that even comes close was a post where I made it clear that Im no longer running support (does not mean I'm not involved in other departments of tbn)

Now I do understand what your saying but there was no way to tell in advance that the site would get hacked. So there was no way for us to send you or anyone else a msg saying "sorry but where gonna get hacked tomorrow and will be taking the site down till we fix it". lol....
The only thing I meant by my prior post above was that tbn has been up for quite a few years without being maintained... and now it is in need of maintenance / repairs regarding the hack aswell as some other things that you ppl have been complaigning about for quite some time aswell as a few upgrades being added...
To anyone else that maybe curious about it, TBN will be up when it goes up, just be patient, it shouldn't take more then a day or two at most. ( if Bond tends to it in a timely manner.)

I have a feeling that you didn't use TBN at all, because links are not added automaticly if you don't imply the code needed for it, or just in other words, most members there have to add each link manually to their sites anyway. So the reason is more to find sites willing to trade linkexchanges than having it automated.
However, i don't see a logical reason why one things excludes the other. What's wrong with using TBN, looking manualy for linkexchanges and setup a script for the own sites where people can setup linkexchanges to your site as well? As said already, i don't see a logical reason why someone should stick to one thing only when there are plenty of other ways on how to get good linktrades.Biggest NOskim Network open for Trades/Linkexchanges

First .... I never bitch about thunder ball being shit .... I love the site and the service ... I use it very often ... some people on here bitch no matter what , just the way it is ...
Second .... I saw the post about you not doing maintenance ... I guess I just took that as you weren't involved anymore ....
Of course I didn't expect a message that you were going to be hacked ... haha ... but it would have been nice to have been notified after the fact other than one post by mr bond that obviously not everyone is going to see ... either way .... nice to know the issue is being resolved ... thanks for the info ...

Seems that is a missunderstanding and it's my vault after re-reading my own post as i thought other webmasters get what i had in mind.
The malcious code we got was on the TBN admin panel and tried to install the virus/exploit on the Home PC-s, NOT on our sites. As i said, my vault not to describing better what happend and now i understand your thoughts as well. I hope thunder-ball gets back online very soon. It is a great solution for linkbuilding. I use it very often.
adultlinkexchange.com mentioned above is NO alternative for LINK BUILDING, because no hard links are exchanged; just the iframed generated code. Soe for SE it is no use. Also linkbigger.com is no really alternative. It is not that comfortable as thunder-ball.
I also look forward for the paid account option, because I don't have a problem for paying people who do a great job with running such a cool link exchange plattform

and BTW it does have reputation on traders and it does have automatic link scripts to really embed and not iframes like adultlinkexchange.com which do not good for SEO------

We had that it was the shit listing but everyone started mis - using it, along with profiles, which no one bothers to check then complaign about getting shitty trades when they are the ones that don't do their research on the ppl they trade with.
