Could use some prayers for my wife tonight....

My wife has been at the Arizona Heart Institute the past couple of days having test run. Her chemically induced stress text they ran yesterday rendered results that she was not getting enough blood to the septum(Lower front part of the heart) so they had her undergo an Angiogram this morning and the results were not too good.
She has been moved to the Arizona Heart Hospital and will be having a Stent put in Late this afternoon.
We could use all the prayers we can get at this time. Thanks!

Don't fret too much about having stents.

I have 4 from 3 separate procedures and watched quite a bit on the monitor while he was threading the arteries to my heart before the relaxer kicked in and I went to dream land..

1 procedure was a "have to" the other 2 were for a drug study and he had to go in to measure results of the test drug and tossed in a few stents while in there

While its by no means a minor operation, I know several folks that have had stents put in and are doing great these days. Its becoming more commonplace with all the medical advances.

Damn girl, you are right in front of me. I had to get some food before I posted.

I wanted to give you all an update on Lori. The procedure went very well and she will be on bed rest for about a week at most. The surgeon did say we will need to make some changes in lifestyle to bring down the cloistral ?.etc + kicking the cigarettes. Over all he said she has a very strong heart and that could be a very good reason why she did not have a heart attack.....with the blockage she had.

On another note, I want to thank each and ever one of you who gave their support and prayers for Lori. It was a very stressful time for both of us and something we do not want to do again.
All of your support meant so much to us. Best wishes and thanks again.
