Check out ZippedSites (its in my sig) for a nice lil plug in to create your blogs with. After your blog is built and you have it setup the way you want and get about fifty posts up, there is even a plugin called lazyblog. This plugin, once turned on, will automaticly set the last post (or whatever number of posts' you want) as the first post. Hence, making it a handsfree blog.

Also, I'm in the process of being able to offer webmasters who sign up through my link at ZippedSites free hosting and blog sub-domains. I'm in the middle of setting it up, should be ready to start offerring them next week. And yes, if anyone signs up or has signed up before i get it started, you will be able to get a blog.
