We just had a girl who came in for an interview. She's a bit on the chubby side but is the nicest girl in the world. She had some faint bruises on her face that were covered up by makeup, and one on her arm that was pretty visible.
I asked where the bruises came from and she told me that her boyfriend beat her up when she confronted him for cheating with another girl (who was stupid enough to text message him on HER phone). She broke up with the idiot, of course, and kicked him out. But she just lost her job as a home health care provider and now may lose her home because of no income and no man to help with the bills.
