                  Pretty cool. The video looks like someone actually used their video camera on their TV.

                  The fence is moving at the end. I think it was open when the car came and it hit it enough to swing the gate back and lock it.

                                      Those chain link fences can be really floppy if there's not a post every 8 feet or so. I'm sure he just blasted right through it and it bent up no problem and snapped right back down. Seems obvious right? lol

                                                  i dont see a fence just snapping up, when you drive through a fence you either bust it open or knock it over, i dont know of any fences that just bounce back.

                                                  also if you notice its a long fence, a fence that length cannot just bounce back up, it is to long to spring back up.

                                                          I thought for sure it was going to be one of those videos where you have to turn it up really loud, look real close at it then all of the sudden something jumps out at you and makes a loud noise and scares the shit out of you. I was prepared for that.

                                                                                                                      Normally if the fence was totally surdy and you ran it over it would be mashed but it looks as it broke from the post on the left side and bounced back.

                                                                                                                                  ive seen a few cars hit chain link fence and it pop back up with no problems, but this looks like it broke right on the joint where they connected the ending piece to the new starting piece.

                                                                                                                                                      you see this i dont agree with, because the cars tires would have knocked off the bottom "connection" part of the fence, and the top would be plowed through by the car.

                                                                                                                                                      the ENTIRE fence would be shaking from the force of the impace of the car hitting the fence, it is not shaking at all, it does not appear to even move that is why it is indeed a crazy video.

                                                                                                                                                      im not saying you are wrong in my opinion i do not think that is the explanation.

                                                                                                                                                              exactly, i watched it like 50 times, it does not move. a car is a major impact, no way it just tapped it over and it popped back out without any shaking of the fence.

                                                                                                                                                                  for those of you who dont know how a chain link fence works:




                                                                                                                                                                  you drive between the posts (figure 1) and the fence ties (figure 2) hold the fence onto the posts. if the fence ties arent there in the first place, or you break them while driving thru the fence it gets lifted up by the car, you arent going to knock over the posts by hitting just the chain link part because the posts are cemented into the ground.

                                                                                                                                                                  theres this thing called gravity plus the fact that theres other parts of the fence still tied on that brings it back down to where it was before. the cop either was too stupid to drive thru or he just didnt want to scratch up his car.
