SEO- where is the link building advice?

I don't see nearly as much detailed information on creating, finding, trading, buying links. Anyone have a link to a solid article on link building from the ground up?

    Porn specific would be nice.

Depends on what you're trying to promote.

Let's say you have a porn blog.

What you would do is first get listed in all directories that do not require payment or a link back, and get listed in the best ones that do require a link back or payment.

Then, make some trades. Not A <-> B trades of course, but A -> B -> C trades. Only trade with established sites (even if they are unlikely to trade with you) and sites that look like a decent amount of effort has been put into them (making it more likely that they will grow).

Use characters you already have on adult surfer boards (you already have a bunch of those, right?) to put your links out there. Use message board posts like "can anyone tell me who this girl is?", with a link to a specific blog post.

Submit posts to nsfw social bookmarking thingies. Make sure your characters there have existed for a while already, and that you've submitted random good stuff you've come across occasionally.

Buy a bunch of posts/links from popular sites. Preferably ones on sites that don't actually advertise that they are selling them.

Trade blog posts with others (again, in A -> B -> C style).

      etc.

Good advice. Of course also try to think about relevancy in what links to you and what you link to. Sure raw massive linking without any major relevance can work too but remember that a relevant link in is worth so much more.
