do you make a search for the threads where you posted the previous day to see all the new replies to them?

and do you also take a look at page 3 or so to see if there's some good thread there, or do you just skim the main page to check whats going on ?

I don't use ICQ anymore.

I usually surf to about page three to check on new posts and I nearly always do the 'find more posts by Sarah_Webinc' thing to see if anything happened in threads I was in before bed.

the subscription feauture is next to useless, but you can just start the day with searching for your username ( all recent threads where you posted )

so even if you partied all night and dont remember yesterdays threads at all, you still see all of them

well that is obviously pointless if you post only smileys or completely useless stuff or if you post 50 times daily....

i have my preferences set to subsrcibe me to anything i post in.. when i come on i look for anything with the subscribed icon and then i search for anything with keywords relating to people needing design. I only tend to browse the pages beyond 2 is if I'm really bored.

if im posting just to talk to people then i stick to whatever is in the top fold of page 1

If I am busy, like during the week, I will visit a few times through the day and skim the main page. When things slow down in the late afternoon, or evening, then I may check page 3 or old posts.
