    A Serious Question For Gay People

    Why do some of you revolve your lives and "personalities" around your sexual orientation rather than your intellect, life experiences, etc...?

          I said "some". You cannot convince me that there are not gays who want to let you know they are gay every 5 minutes. I've met them. I've also met gay people that I would have no idea unless they told me.

              i can only speak for myslf but when i put it out there its not for me or because i am trying to pick up somebody. i figure may as well put it out there fast out of fairnesss and because people sometimes freak out whe nthey find out at certain um moments. it's not for us. gay people can usaully tell. we do it for you

                      ah...that's totally cool. I understand where you're coming from...I guess I'm talking more about the total flamers that just make themselves seem one dimensional...as if being gay is ultimately what defines them as a human being. I just don't see sexual orientation as something to be proud of (gay or straight). It's just one of MANY facets of life that can't be controlled.

                          I don't believe there are any dumb/irrelevant questions. The majority of questions have answers. Geez, talk about easily offended.

                          To answer your question: Some straight men brag how many women they've fucked because throughout the history of time there have been braggarts and straight men are probably the most egotistical humans on the planet. If you're gonna brag about something, it might as well be a nice piece of snatch.

                              As a gay person myself, this is one of the single most annoying things for me about the gay community. I have no idea why a lot of gay people insist on flaunting their sexuality, and, for that matter, the whole swishy thing, "she" this and "she" that when they're talking about a guy, and so forth.

                              There are a lot of things to be proud of in gay culture, the connection to the arts, theater, and so forth, of which sexuality plays very little if any part. Why who we choose to sleep with, or the outfits that some people dress up in that makes 'em look like they walked right off the strip... I've never gotten it.

                              Maybe somebody knows somethign I don't, but I think it's stupid.
