I joined about 4 years ago (I believe it started about 5 years ago)
it has only gotten bigger and bigger and went from a program limited to college campuses in america to a global phenomenon available to anyone

I lived abroad last year and it finally started to catch on in the world.....I would walk around in Israel and people kept saying "faebook, facebook, I'm gonna add these pics to my facebook, did you see his profile on facebook? etc" I also did some traveling in Jordan but I don't remember hearing much about it there....
I think facebook has got another few good years and is going to demonstrate at least some staying power-it's now finally starting to hit the rest of the world
Myspace's growth has levelled out at how you would expect a site with 100,000,000+ members. Traffic levels are roughly the same as ever, how exactly was it a fad? A fad grows huge popularity and then declines sharply. Myspace has been around 5 or 6 years... People who use facebook mostly also have a myspace and vice versa.
