Yeah, docs said the same. Plural membrane or whatever that is is fine. Docs said 4-8 weeks. They also said it's not uncommon that it never heals properly, but cos it's the second rib that is one of the smaller ones and isn't subject to large movements from breathing, it should heal.
The mandibular whatsit though - they did say if I've still pain in 2 weeks, it requires invasive complicated surgery to rectify
Don't quite understand what that injury is, but it's related to the top of the mandible not being able to descend when the jaw opens wide, which is why it's painful as heck after opening 20mm
