i think its just a matter of perspective and what you're immersed in as you go about your day. i will say that the sponsor programs out there are definitely cutting the fat. the video companies are treading water, and many people are exiting the business. the problem with that is, no one makes posts or worthless press releases to announce "GRAND CLOSING!!" whoo hoo, look at us we went out of business. lol. you see every worthless announcement you can imagine even when these companies hire a janitor or open a soda can, but when the companies clean house, you don't see anything like that announced. i know off the top of my head at least 30 some odd people let go from affiliate programs that once used to be all over the boards as reps. i know this because many of them came to me looking to see if i was hiring. affiliate programs are finally taking a look around at their overheads and getting rid of anything that does not produce, not only people. the old saying "if it don't make dollas, it don't make sense" applies more than ever now. porn valley for some has turned into a really dark, gloomy place, where the guy who once was joe the bigshot now worries about how to pay for those two boats, the rv, the two houses, and his wifes alimony. thats the kind of shakeout im talking about. as far as sites go, if anything i think there will be more sites online than ever. everyone is rushing to the web to save them. sadly many are too late.
