Highschool friends that become famous, doesn't it make you jealous in a way?

Well I went to school with a guy Named Adrian Gonzales who now plays for the San Diego Padres and he is only 24 years old, I was not super close to him but close enough since I played little league and highschool football with him through out our school years.

Its so freakin weird to see him all over ESPN and the papers, commericals etc... He is not even that well known (this is his first major league year) but its still crazy. I am really happy for him but at the same time when Im watching him on TV I start to get a bit jealous I think at times, just being honest.

Makes me wonder how weird it would be to have gone to school with like Brad pitt or something.

Its not the money that Im jealous of either, I think its just more the status thing and since its for sports. I mean you can make millions and millions in adult or some mainstream business and have boats, big houses everything but you still aint got status like a pro athlete, you know.

Nope doesn't make me jealous at all, I have 2 highschool friends that are superstars in the WWF. I am super happy for them as they are good people that deserve everything they have.

I also have an old school friend that's in the NHL (plays for the habs now Blech! LOL!). But he's a super cool guy and lives just 15 minutes from me offseason...

No jealousy whatsoever, just admiration for all the hardwork it took them to get where they are.

Its just a job... These people were just very good at what they do and fortunatly for them they are in the entertainment industry (includes sports, acting, etc). No reason to be jealus of them or anyone... Its just there good at what they do like your good at maybe programing or marketing?

I went to school with my cousin.. He got a 4 year scholarship from his baseball abilities.. then got papers from 3 major league teams...
He quits in his 2nd year and becomes an assistant directory for a community center... Coulda been a bif thing.. Guess he burned out..

But thats a coulda been famous thing..

Tony Snow and Carmen Electra wne to my high school.. but it was after me by several years...
