I agree at first glance (especially since I see pricing is even higher now than it was when I did my test).

I just don't think I did anywhere near large enough of a sample to really determine what the final sales conversion will be. And since it's such a huge potential traffic source, I want to give it a fair shake.

A few hours, but I think they throttle it. They say they have 500,000 - 750,000 gay impressions available / day.

I would never pay for impression. IMO, this seems like a waste of money. Impression fraud is too easy.

i thought it was overpriced myself and buying impressions is not something i would care to do. i know the gts guys have plenty of high traffic sites where you can buy a week or month at a time for less than it would cost to buy impressions for a month on this site by half or more.

32c/click seems extremely high to me although like you said, this was a very small sample. I'm willing to bet over the long term this won't work in your favour though. You can get much better qualified traffic for that CPC rate.

I haven't worked xtube for a couple weeks, but part of your CPC problem might be that they are ALWAYS putting gay banners above the straight video section videos. I always think how great it is (for me) to have my watermarked straight videos playing under a gay banner.... more type-ins for me.

This isn't a spam thread.

I got NOTHING from xtube, not even a discount or free traffic. I posted this to be helpful.

I tested it out. I was going to run another larger test.

Before I could do that (in less than 1 day), they RAISED THEIR PRICES EVEN HIGHER for their gay traffic.

I decided with the raised prices, it definately wouldn't be worth it, so I didn't do a second test.

This thread is over a month old now, you can stop bumping it.
