Hope you resolve this.
My shooter makes me pay 50% up front, the 50% before delivery. He shows me samples if I ask to make sure its what I wanted, but to be honest, I trust him.
Perhaps you should work like this in future, at least until youve built up a good solid relationship with the client.
I have no problem working this way, as I intend to pay for the shoot and I know the quality of the guys work is great.
