    Making an Ebook - Questions

    i have a word doc. i want to make into an ebook - anyone have any tips, tools, advice on how to do it best?

    am reading some articles but some of you may have some experience here.

          Do a search for free ebook + subject, like free ebook + seo, business, management, ect.

          You will find 100's of examples of formating, menus, uses, ect.. Some really suck and some are kick ass, format wise.. Information is up to the end reader.

          Google Docs can convert your files to pdf, and lots of other free tools online can take html or doc files and change them over. Then use e-junkie.com for your ebook shopping cart.

              if you only want to convert to PDF, search for Primo PDF, I remember it did the job pretty well and from what I recall it's free... OR, download OpenOffice - that has a built in thingy

                  instead of converting it to pdf or .exe just create a site for it and throw the information in to a protected members area instead

                  digital download sales of ebooks are declining and most in this segment of online marketing are switching to the members area based business model

                      some good stuff here.

                      yeah i'm know how to switch it to a pdf. looking to see what people use for formatting and such.

                      good info fakenick, although i will probably seed some excerpts on torrents.

                      any other ebook info is welcome.

                          personally i wouldnt use torrents to do that instead create several non-protected pages of your ebook site and put excerpts on those with enough information to get the reader interested but not enough that you give away the money shot ;)

                              for creating / formatting / exporting to pdf.. i use buzzword online from adobe, but that's just because i'm collaborating with a co-author and we can get things done quicker this way. ..for selling i use paydotcom.com and click2sell.eu - both of 'em have a built in affiliate system.
