Do you give the MODEL a copy of the content you made of her?

I mean like just emailing her the pics, or whatnot. About one in 3 of them ask.

I DON'T. I just ignore the request, for obvious reasons. (At least to me)

Just kinda wondering if I'm being a dick or not. The release they sign makes it pretty clear that I own the work.

As a courtesy, I let models post the content on their personal web site after it appears on my site, although I make it clear that I retain the rights to ask them to the remove the content should I wish to since I paid for the 100% rights to the content.

It makes the models happy, and is good advertising for me.

Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. It just depends on whether or not they ask and if they do ask, I normally give them a username and pass to the site which is good for a couple of days or so. I also tell them that the content is fully copyrighted and that they do not have any rights to the content. Of course, I never release ANY content which is not watermarked. If they don't ask then of course, I don't give them anything.

Good portfolio shots cost good money to have produced so sure - if she pays me to take the shots she can have it otherwise of course not. That'd be like paying her twice and possibly ruining much of the value of shots ofr my own use.

We generally do, watermarked, with an agreement they won't remove the watermark, and won't use the images for any commercial purpose. We also use the invisible Digimarc watermark that indicates our copyright and tracks where the image shows up on the web (to some extent at least) so we have at least some chance of finding out if it's being used somewhere commercially.

But we have a good relationship with nearly all of our models, so we don't really have issues with the images getting misused and as such, we don't have problems with providing copies of the content to the models.
