Why would you say St. Maarten was less developed? They have pier for large cruise ships (many far larger islands don't have it), it's one of the cleanest and safest islands in the Caribbean and airport beach is just fucking bad ass (on French side).

Cuba is absolutely bad ass. I would also highly recommend St. Barts ;)
