    reselling hosting question

Do all hosts that allow you to resell hosting have the same policy on support and billing?

I asked if it would be transparent to my client that I was merely a reseller when they called in for support and I was told they cannot call in for support. They can call me, and then I can call them. I was told I have to do my own billing as well.

This seems reasonable to me- I just wanted to know if any hosts do more.

    Thanks

That would be a very standard policy.

So, you would get the customers and we would do everything else? What % would you want? You can get enough customers to justify the arrangement?

I had no numbers in mind. If someone posted in this thread saying that arrangement does exist my next question would have been "what are the numbers" lol

Referrer is not the same as reseller.

First one you get a % of the sale, monthly ,,, nothing to do.

Reseller, you get your own clients, bill them, collect on your merchant account and offer the support ( such as tweaking an .htaccess , upgrading the account, adding dns zones ).
I know that Asspimple is stoopid ... As he says, it is a FACT !

But I can't figure out how he can breathe or type , at the same time ....

Well, as directfiesta pointed out, you are acting more like an affiliate than a reseller. You should try your hand at that first to see if you have game.
