The new Electrolux with steam they are about $1600 each at Sears. Its the same type of front loader they have been using in Europe for the last 20 plus years

Go to costco and get a cheap one that has dry detect and decent energy stats.
I for the life of me can't understand folks who buy those super duper extra fancy "keeping up with the jones" front load washers/dryers that come in red, green or purple. For the love of god, they wash your fuckin' clothes people! I've had a few friends say to me when I walk in their home, "hey dude...check out this cool washer and dryer I got!". I'm thinking..."this guy is a moron..." while I smile and say, "cool you have a lot to be thankful for...".
The last set I bought was 10 years ago. At that time there was 5 people in my home so I wanted something high capacity. I went with the Kenmore Elite High Effiency Front Loaders. I bought the pedestals also so there is less bending when doing laundry. I've had only one maintenance call in 10 years. The gasket on the inside front of the washer got torn somehow so it started leaking. It was a 30 minute fix.
Someone mentioned the steam dryers. Kenmore has a range of those now. They run several hundred dollars less than the Electrolux and have very similar reviews.
We got the biggest Kenmore front loaders we could find because they'll take king-sized blankets --- and we didn't even worry about them "matching," let alone having fancy colors, since they're just going to sit in the laundry room anyway
From what I understand, the "name-brand" manufacturers also make the guts of all the Kenmore washer/dryers, so you're not getting anything more by paying for the brand names (Maytag, etc.) and Sears has a very good repair/service policy.
Yeah I was looking at the electrolux! Thanks for all the info guys I was just wondering if there was certain brands to stay away from. I have a finnish/japanese girl (Alaura wifey Eden) that will be operating the machinery so Im all set there. ADG Ill be racing Infineon in mid-march so lets hook up bro.

I thought the same thing, until we had a baby and I'm doing 3-4 loads a day. I can do a full load, wash and dry in half the time the old stuff did the job.
