    Who Killed JonBenet?

    Okay, this is my 3rd first attempt at a poll...

    Who do you think killed JonBenet Ramsey and why?

    Included in John Karr's so called confession is purportedly a statement that he picked her up from school?!? (Then he took her home, assaulted her, murdered her, left a kidnap letter, etc?).

    Karr is a kook, but I am not convinced he comitted the crime.

    I did not follow the case when it first happened due to the media circus, however after looking at it more closely in recent days it appears as if it almost has to be an inside job.

    What do you think and why?

          I agree. In my rum induced state it seemed pretty damn funny when I conceived it. Too many moving parts though.

          Still, it sure seems like one of the Ramsey's did it (most likely Patsy or John), and the other spouse helped in the cover up.

                      A lot of that BS you read that Karr suposedly said was told by some cop in Thailand that was told by someone else. Karr never said he drugged her or a lot of the other stuff. That's what started all the confusion. The Thailand police making shit up.

                      Fact is that

                      A) The Boulder DA said he knew a alot of facts about the body of Jon Benet that were never released to the public.

                      B) Handwriting sample of his and the ransom note matched according to several experts.

                      If he's not the killer then he's got some really bad luck to admit to a crime where he guessed the unreleased details exactly and also has the bad luck to have the exact same handwritting as the "real" killer.

                                  A) Karr knew facts "Never released to the public". The autopsy report/photos were never "officially" released to the public, yet they are easy to find online. Aside from that, given Karr's obsession with the Ramsey case (and other cases) it is conceivable that he could fill-in portions of the scenario.

                                  He has also purportedly made claims that could not be, such as that he picked JonBenet up from school that day. On Christmas?!? She was with her family and friends of the family on Christmas. School was not in session.

                                  Also, Karr had extensive e-mail contact with Prof. Tracey, who I think is using Karr to sell books. Tracey has researched the case as much as anyone, with the apparent purpose to prove that anyone but the Ramsey's are responsible. He has also been wrong before in "proving" who the real killer is.

                                  Tracey could have obtained "non-public" details about the case from former Police and investigators who share his "intruder" theory, and conveniently passed it along to Karr to set him up.

                                  B) See quote from news story filed today regarding analysis of Karr's handwriting:

Mary Lacy's office called Hamilton County, Ala., schools to seek a handwriting sample of Karr for comparison with the ransom note left by JonBenet's killer.

                                                          Real kidnapers rarely leave a long rambling ransom letter, and they normally do not compose ransom notes at the location of the kidnapping knowing they could be discovered at anytime by someone in the house.

                                                          And if they botch a kidnapping by murdering the person to be kidnapped, they would probably not leave the note behind.

                                                          If you look at the note, it indicates a self-proclaimed "small foreign faction" claimed responsibility, and that they were supposedly were conducting the kidnaping because they didn't like the U.S. government. How common do you think that is, especially in a place like Colorado?

                                                          The ransom note seems as if it was clearly intended to misdirect investigators, by pointing in several different directions, which I think is why the $118,000 ransom amount is demanded. As I understand it, the bonus had just been paid a few days before, and the amount was not common knowledge even within John Ramsey's company.

                                                          It certainly would cause one to think it might be a disgruntled employee, although an employee with that inside info knows that asking for such an amount in their ransom note would certainly point towards an employee being the kidnaper, something they most likely would not want to be known.

                                                          If on the other hand the Ramsey's wanted to feed misinformation pointing away from themselves, hinting that it might be an ex-employee seems plausible enough.
