Do not watch it, wait for DVD realease. Only one show I am truly sorry it got cancelled: tru calling. Such interesting topic, good casting and people did not like it. Two cancelled shows I have on DVD first season and did not even finish watching it (so no wonder it got cancelled): Sports night and The invisible man.Comment

I'm not sure why, but when I saw the ad for it in Entertainment Weekly months before it first aired I actually predicted it's quick demise (It's kind of a tradition as a EW subscriber to predict the "not even gonna make an entire season" shows from their ads - yeah, I live a boring life). Anyway, I never saw it, so don't know if it was good or not. Sorry to the losers.
My 2 worst cancellations were: Family Guy (thank god it came back due to cartoon network rerun nielsen ratings), and Arrested Development (thank god a movie deal has been inked).NICHE MONEY >> Ass Worship • Panties • Solo Teen • Pantyhose

I didn't even bother watching it, because the last two series that NBC slotted after Heroes tanked completely after I got into them (Studio 60, Journeyman).
NBC's current programmers have no clue how to schedule shows and grow them. (Ummm...if you have a slick dramatic show with some comedic elements, from the creators of West Wing, with some of the same stars as West Wing, do you think you might do best by putting it in the SAME TIME SLOT THAT WEST WING HAD, instead of sticking it after Heroes where there would be ZERO carry-over audience between the two types of show???)
Don't even bother getting attached to NBC's stuff anymore

I had to laugh when I read that...for years, I was touting Family Guy as the worst cancellation ever, and was sure that the "professionals" were the only ones who didn't get it. It's amazing that it took Adult Swim reruns/DVD sales to get "professional network programmers" to see the light on that one.
But the state of network TV programming these days is so pathetic (can you name more than a handful of shows that have had the same time period since their debut? nice way to build awareness and loyalty, by moving shows every three months) that basic and pay cable have had an open door to jump in and claim all of the viewers the networks took for granted for so long.
(I was also heartbroken when "The Critic" was cancelled )

it is pretty much inevitable, any tv show that is intelligent and requires a half of brain worth of thought to enjoy will be cancelled and replaced by a crappy comedy, reality tv show or idiotic game show
