I don't understand this ... really obnoxious constant barrage of abuse towards George from GFY morons and deluded trash.

He is articulate, runs one of the most transparent Admins ever, has no conflict of interest, has excellent judgement, very forward-looking in fiscal policy and has a keen sense of serving the electorate - unlike all liberals and democrats.

There has never been a real democracy till George adjusted it, and he's admired by almost all world leaders for his contribution internationally and for the advancement of freedom and democracy in other nations.

The Constitution was written a long time ago, and is no longer relevant in this century. It is crucial in a modern democracy to enable the leader to change the Constitution as may be needed, or interprete this to suit whatever occasion may arise. Consultation with legislature is not practical.

There is a problem with the judiciary - judges do not understand the functions of government in the 21st century. Their liberal bias is intolerable and there is a need for change to stop Presidential decisions from being blocked/appealed in courts and allow detention without trial, especially in time of war.

All law-abiding people have no reason to be concerned over privacy, wiretapping and rights of search without warrants - it's part of a real democracy - and what makes America a safer place today.

Sadly there are people (well, morons), who don't understand the need to dispose of unnecessary barriers to protecting the nation. These mindless liberal people are inhibiting George from realizing his ultimate goal - they are called democrats.

Despite that, with vision, planning and some minor ballot-box adjustment, George will thrust his agenda forward and ensure economic stability, good international relationships with our partners, and continue to give the people of the US an education and health system which is the envy of the world.

THAT is why America is the way it is today.

Thank you George - bless you.

            And don't forget these gems:
If the personal freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution inhibit the government's ability to govern the people, we should look to limit those guarantees.

Sometimes I think I have no idea how I got to be president, and I am sure the people who oppose me don't either,

The purpose of government is to rein in the rights of the people.

We can't be so fixated on our desire to preserve the rights of ordinary Americans...

Our paradigm now seems to be: something terrible happened to us on September 11, and that gives us the right to interpret all future events in a way that everyone else in the world must agree with us. And if they don't, they can go straight to hell.
            .
