This has nothing to do with cultural ignorance. It's about not understanding and filling in the words, those could be aliens from Jupiter it wouldn't matter, just that what they're saying isn't English and that it sounds close to something in English.
But heres some cultural ignorance for you: wtf, why have the Indians been stuck on 'Thriller' for sooooooo damn long? It's like every music video of theirs aims to be as close to being Thriller as possible, the dances, the moves the dude makes and his clothes are all from Thriller. Here is the thing, I have seen a lot of bollywood movies and a lot of songs, dances I have seen are unique and pretty good. Most of the stuff that gets posted on youtube is usually the worst/failed stuff or something that can be easily mocked upon. Also all these songs are at least 8-10 yrs old if not more. The style back then was way different. Try seeing some new Indian movies and you will appreciate bollywood more.
