A Canadian man has been recognized as the world's most prolific Wikipedia contributor, having submitted over 80,000 articles. Wikipedia is the internet-based information repository which is freely available to the public, both to view and edit.

24-year-old Simon Pulsifer of Ottawa Ontario, is internationally known for his efforts, and is considered the gold standard of a "Wikipedian," or a person who actively submits into the knowledge-based community.

"I'm always doing something for Wikipedia, even when I'm not writing entries," he said from his home in Ottawa. "I'm always...thinking about how I can make the site better." Pulsifer currently lives with his parents, and is not in a relationship.
