What the hell, I'll chime in lol (Long read but I think it's worth it)
Years back I was "Selected" to "work" for a club, (I won't name names or places lol) I was to show up to their local clubhouse for a COC (Confederation Of Clubs) meeting and do a presentation to the 12 clubs of the COC, I took one of my business partners with me, as he'd never been on an actual sales call or presentation with me before, and since his folks knew my contacts very well I figured he'd know how to act on the job, as he was raised around bikers and club politics.
Long story short, I arrive first, wearing my normal casual attire, jeans, black shirt, leather jacket, and my hair was tied back, HE showed up in a fucking suit and tie complete with a fucking briefcase. I'm thinking "This is gonna be one hell of a meeting" lol
Before I can ring the buzzer the door opens up and two big "scary" bikers (diff clubs) are at the door, I tell them "Were here for the meeting, "_________" is expecting us, they take one look at my partner and close the door, few mins later door opens back up and now there is FIVE guys at the door, I repeat my sentence and my parter is looking pretty shaken up, they again close the door and my partner freaks... "Dude we got to get the fuck out of here" and he starts to walk away, I take two steps tword him and the door flies open....
"WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU GOING, GET IN HERE NOW!" they grabed him and pulled him inside, and let me walk right in, he's shitting bricks (which is odd cause he fucking grew up around most of these guys lol) I get inside the club (KILLER CLUB BTW) and all the members of the "home club" are just laughing, they were watching all of this on their security cameras lol.
I take a seat on a bench and setup the laptop and load up all the shit, grab a beer from bar and find the Prez, he was laughing his ass off at my partner who is STILL scared lol, the meeting gets started, the "home club's" national Prez comes in, introduces us, and we give our presentation, pass out cards (and collected cards from diff clubs/members lol, that floored me to death) and we got the bid.
Right by the close of the meeting, this one dude came over to our bench and just stares at my parter, he looks at me and gives me a wink....
"U SCARED BOY?" he bellows... my partner says.. "y-y-y-y-yes sir"
"What the fuck are you scared about boy, are you a fucking cop?"
Silence
"Um, dude, I say, "he asked you a question, I think you should answer him LOL"
"Uh, huh, wha... oh no, no I'm not a cop sir"
Meanwhile the national prez walks over (as there is also a mini crowd of various club bikers converging on our table, he grabs my partner and says... "Whats wrong?"
My partner just freaks lol
" I I I... LOOK! we were asked to come here and do this work for you and the other clubs, no one wanted to let us in here and I'm fucking scared shitless with all this stuff going on!"
Laughter fills the club, followed by the NP raising his arm up, and the whole place went silent. "WHO did not let you in" he asked, my partner looked around the room, and for the first time of that night I FREAKED a bit, he pointed out the biker who was at the door all three times and said "umm that guy I guess"
The NP called the biker over, said... is this true? "yeah, but their civilians, what was I supposed to do???" "DID they tell you who they were?" "Yeah" "DID they tell you "_____" invited them here tonite?" "Yeah"
S M A C K, the NP socked the dude right in the fucking face, I fucking flipped out, but tried at least to LOOK calm, my parter, I think might have shit himself if not for what happened next....
the NP, then took the biker's hand and SHOOK IT and said... "Perfect, you did EXACTLY what you should have done" then turned around and yelled...
"As far as I'm concerned these two are honorary "___________" and are welcome in ANY of OUR and YOUR houses"
and the whole place erupted in yells and screams and applause, the smacked biker went to my partner and said "sorry dude, just doin my job you know"
What followed was a killer few years with 12 sets of the coolest fucking people I've known in a long time, AND I even made it onto a few federal watch lists cause I worked with and for these clubs lol
good times, good times
I end by saying the ONLY reason I left out names and such is I was taught you do NOT talk about this stuff outside of the clubs, and never ever to civilians lol, I am surprised though to read some of the stuff in this thread lol
