What is the best city in Spain to live in?

I am planning to piece off for a couple months next month and i am wondering what city is the best to live in?

i do enjoy BIG CITIES, not alot of muslims if possible. i like night life and alot of restaurants also.

any recommendations?

It's out in the ocean, it have the best climat (dry wind, 3XX sunny days a year) and I will most likely be living there 3-4 months a year beginning this summer

If you visit Spain during the summer months, why not go to Ibiza or Mallorca.

Madrid and Barcelona were great cities to visit, but I wouldnt live in Madrid. Barcelona seems to be closer to what you're looking for. PS: Being white nowadays in europe doesnt really help you as you would think. Just got off from a 30 days trip - covered 7 cities... best looking women were having fun with the black dudes. Sorry - you're out of style right now :D

I had some awesome paella at a lil cafe underneath that ugly cathedral. Very worth seeing and in a very odd section of Barcelona.

To OP: Barcelona and Madrid both have awesome food and a great night life. I prefer Madrid and would love to live there and go on Tapas crawls a few times a week.
