Managed Hosting - We will install any kind of software packages, make sure your server is up to date on all security, make sure you are always running the latest version's of all software packages. Most customers dont know how to admin their servers so we do everything for them. Companies always charge a premium for managed hosting.
UnManaged Hosting - This can be setup on any platform anything from windows to linux operating system. Keep in mind that we only provide managed hosting for FreeBSD (most popular form of unix for webhosting) With unamanged hosting customers are required to watch their servers and perform all security and software updates. We simply provide them with connectivity to the internet, if their server fails we can go and reboot it. Unmanaged hosting is usually cheaper since it involves less support on our part.
We prefer to sell managed hosting because we have the support in place and we can charge a premium. We built our company based on providing customers with managed hosting.

About our data-centers:
We operate 2 data-centers one in 25 Broadway New York and our latest facility is our very own privately owned facility at 300 Blvd East Weehawken NJ. Both facilities are generation 5 data-centers with redundant power (in case power fails we have generators) and state of the art cooling (it has to be cooled for servers to run properly). We always welcome customers to come tour our facilities if they are ever in the new york area.

ISPrime's network at this point has a capacity of 60Gbits (60,000mbit) for example the server you where trying to see to the guy earlier is 10mbits just to give you an idea of how much capacity we have. Everything is setup via multiple dark fiber paths for redundancy. This is done in case one of the paths goes down we have multiple other paths for connectivity. We connect to tier1 carriers such as Level3, Teleglobe, and AboveNet we also have private peering (private connections) to networks like Telefonica, BT Telecom, Chello, Cox, Rogers, Bell South, Cable & Wireless and many others. What all this means is we have a very strong network. A lot of companies rely on a single bandwidth provider or two providers for redundancy with us we can have multiple providers fail and still be able to stay up via our other carriers. We offer customers 100% network uptime.

Our packages are setup on Dell PowerEdge servers with Xeon processors and up to 4gb of ram (max under freebsd) and scsi drives. We never buy no name machines or build servers ourselves. Dell servers are a bit more expensive but they are the most reliable machines on the market. We dont cut corners here to save a few bucks we have always been about quality. When customer buys or leases these machines from us we always have spare parts for these servers. For example if a customers hard drive fails we will replace it this goes for any part in the server or the server itself. Also if they want to upgrade hardware at anytime we can do these upgrades in minutes since all the parts are here on site.
