    Heading to London and Amsterdam

This will be my first trip out of the country and I will be gone for 5 days. I'm staying in Amsterdam for two out of the five days.

What are some nice spots that I should visit while in both countries?

The Van Gogh Museum, his works are arranged chronologically by floor and you look at the pieces each floor he goes more and more insane...it's pretty sick.

Ann Frank's house is a Rip off IMO, it's not the original house, they widened the stairwells to fit more people through and put metal railways and glass were wall once were so you can see in...I wanted to see where they really hid from the Nazi's, not some reproduction museum piece, it looked to commercial for me.

And of course the redlight district, check out the "Banana Bar" if you can. $40 get's you in and all you can drink (for a period of time, I forget how long) then you get bananas and fuck the dancers with them...pretty interesting to say the least.

Try to get a chance to just walk around for a few hours at least and look at the canals and walk the cobblestone streets. Notice how small the doors are and that all the brownstones lean forward so they can lift furnature through the upper large windows using a pully hooked on the peak Instead of through the door. You look down the block and it looks like all the buildings lean forward. Very interesting. these are things I may not have noticed if not pointed out by a native of Holland I was traveling with.

Just take notice at how goodlooking the people are after being in England...you get off the plane from England thinking you stepped into the playboy mansion, lol. (nothing against English chicks, but come on...there is a such thing as a dentist). Ok, i've said too much.

Very nice place , I love Amsterdam, and can't wait to go back in Sept. It's also very english friendly (most of europe is), but I found it to be especially english/USA friendly in comparison to say, Germany, italy or France.

have fun, you will come away with a different outlook on the world.
