Most miss the point - it's meant to be bad. Very bad. Sort of the ultimate B movie but so bad it's good.
It would have been a true disastor had it in any way taken itself seriously. As it is it's one of those things you'll have to see to decide for yourself I think. So far most of the critics who have seen it seem to like it. Over 70% in rotten tomatoes.

I had an orgasm when I watched this movie, it was that good.
I laughed, I cried, I climaxed, I died, I came back, and now I'm typing these words to show my appreciation for this amazing film. It makes films like 'The Godfather' look like 'The Shaggy Dog', and films like '2001: A Space Oddessy' look like crap. This movie is THE movie of the YEAR, better yet, the DECADE. It's definitely the greatest film of all-time.
A classic, no. It's more than that. It has it's own genre, called 'AWESOME-NESS'. That's a whole-lot better than classic.

I don't know this...but I think that they tried something new. I think they hyped the movie and did the trailers to make the movie look stupid, but it's going to be a completely different movie than we all think it will be when it comes out.
If they did that, it's genius. If not and it's as stupid as it looks...all this promotion and Sam Jackson putting his name and face all over it will hopefully kill his career.Comment
