    FACT: English people have rotten teeth and bad breath.

    why is that? they are so fucking ugly with their big black teeth and terrible halitosis. what causes them to be so underdeveloped? is it inbreeding or too much tea?

                                      actually it is dental care not being available to most on the NHS...however, costmetic dentistry is a huge growth market here so it is becoming an outdated sterotype

                                                  I'd disagree that it's most but it is a big percenatge now due to a combo of a shortage of denitists, an insane funding system by the government and simple greed by many dentists.

                                                  That said almost anyone can find an NHS dentist still but only if they can travel. Sucks for anyone on a very low income, without their own transport.

                                                  It never fails to amaze me that the government does not really consider this a problem. I suppose it kills nobody and wtf should they care when they can afford private treatment anyway?

                                                      Oh, and I meant to add that people need to compare like for like. Bad teeth in the UK are usually low income families for a number of reasons, not least of which is that most others can afford private dentistry and/or are not generally scuzzy and care about their childs teeth.

                                                      Americans who think the UK has a problem need to look at the teeth of most of the poorer people in the USA. They often make bad teeth in the UK look good.
