One amazing Hubble picture [picture]

This is not a new picture, but still pretty amazing to see all those galaxies next to each other...

"Astronomers today unveiled the deepest portrait of the visible Universe ever achieved by humankind. Called the Hubble Ultra Deep Field (HUDF), the million-second-long exposure reveals the first galaxies to emerge from the so-called "dark ages", the time shortly after the big bang when the first stars reheated the cold, dark Universe. The new image should offer new insights into what types of objects reheated the Universe long ago."

nope. their existence and the space around them is entirely different. things like creation and destruction don't exist as we know it, hence their experiment.

still waiting for you to list one theory backed by equations, observerations, and scientific research. what happened before the big bang is anyones guess. string theory may be the answer. who knows. but the creation of the universe we're currently living in is leaning towards the big bang. no one is ruling out more dimensions. string theory needs what? 10 dimensions i think.

big bang is more than likely how this universe was created. will we ever be 100% sure? no. is there something grander than our universe and reality we see. most likely. i won't argue that with you.

Dude, you just explained exactly why the Big Bang is plausible. The rules of our universe did not exist until the universe itself existed. You have to remember that the Big Bang theory doesn't state that a bunch of matter exploded into existing space; the Big Bang CREATED the space and the matter/energy that filled it.

The most amazing thing is the size of it - the distance between any 2 of those dots is almost inconceivable, and each of the dots is billions of stars and planets.
