It would be more cut and dry if tubes sites were simply "Illegal" like people want them to be. Unfortunately the way DMCA is written many of them are immoral and wrong but probably not illegal.
Please don't start with the "everyone knows" or "it's common knowledge" about owners doing the uploading. If it were so cut and dry these "illegal" sites would be getting prosecuted. They're not yet.

Umm not to defend Dori, but to play devils advocate how is this any different than a search engine? All he is doing is spidering (like a search engine) then providing targeted results. Yes I am sure a lot of the content from the lists he provides is not legal, but anyone saying it is illegal is a bit insane. If the sites he is indexing allow embedding, then how is this any different than say a site like http://www.viralvideochart.com/ that embeds the hottest videos right now. Viral video chart doesn't check to see whether the content is legal or not. That is up to whatever site it originates from.

I always enjoyed reading your posts Sticky and will continue to do so. You are one of the few in this business i would work with knowing i would be working with somebody who has the knowledge and the skills BUT i have to comment you on this post.
I think we can all asume that most of the content is illegal, stolen, etc..... Adult content people worked for and probably paid money for. How this is any different? Well, putting up a tube site is one thing, selling links (read embed codes) to illegal adult content on an adult webmaster board is another thing. It's a direct slap in the face to people who actually WORK for $$. I myself plaid with the idea of putting up a tube site but didn't. Why? Ethics! It's all we have to go on in this business. I'm not one of those who thinks "if everybody is doing it, it's ok", one less douchbag is one less... One less theif.
Sites like Viral Video Chart indeed probably has links to videos that are illegal or stolen but atleast they are not slapping it in the face like this fucked up unethical moron does. I for one will always, ALWAYS, attack those that come into this business for a quick buck hurting others by having no ethics whatsoever. No, it doesn't hurt any of us directly BUT thousands of him do. The question remains, do we just let it all slip or do whatever we can to whipe them out, one by one. I go for the last option.Comment

t the reason i left it at 5 is because browser would crash with something around 10~15 embed videos on the same page.
but i will add those option too. so that those willing may fight tube sites by wasting their bandwith by clicking simulatneously play button on all 15 embed videos.

he is basically selling you a list of content from all the major tube sites in one single database
why not pool your money buy a single licience and use it a master DMCA list
Then not only would you be removing your content legally from the offending tube sites
but you would basically corupting his database at the same time (since the working links would stop working when the content disappers)

If I was wanting to quickly find vids of mine that might be on tubesites I think this would be a handy thing to simplify it. This hurts tubesites so I just don't see it all that bad. Im amazed DoriDori made this. He is taking advantage of the circumstances of tube sites traffic. Im 100% against content theft, but seems like a way to use up their bw, while profiting from them. Im no buddy of doridori obviously, but gfy annoys me that depending on how the first few posters respond, so goes the thread normally lolComment
