I find that completely BS. Look at this one day ratio I had:
1,606 322 1:4 12 1:26 $300.42
That's 1606 hits that turned into 322 free profiles and 12 paid joins. If that's a shave, then they're doing a great job at it because I haven't seen other dating sponsors come even close to that.

Affiliates are the key to our business model, why in the hell would anyone deduct sales leaving the WM with poor sales and ratios? THINK about it. One program may work better for you than another, for a lot of different reasons.
Do your own test sign up and see! Don't go by what 'someone' posted on GFY. Since we all know if its posted on GFY, it must be true.

Dude, if you don't like them don't promote them. You cannot just go on and accuse any sponsor of shaving just because you think they are shaving.
You say you sent 3k uniques so how did you count it? Maybe your script is not that great in counting? Also, number of your 3k uniques may have left their pages before their page loaded, in that case, your uniques won't register either. PPS is a bit different method than revshare where cookies are set for a shorter period of time, sites have lots of upsales, pop-ups etc, they don't quite have to shave you to make their monies so chill and stop making yourself sounding like a newbie. I see from your gfy signup date you must've been in biz since atleast 2007 so you couldn't be that new to this shit.Comment

FYI, some of them will be lying. If you think NO program in the industry "shaves" right now, you are mistaken. Having seen the source code of many programs, I can assure you it is being done, and being done incorrectly with many of them where it's easily found out heh.
Generally though, it's easy enough for someone to test a program out for themselves and draw their own conclusions.
Also, IMO, the ones shaving are generally found amongst those who offer ridiculously high payouts. Their thinking is probably "hrm, we can afford to pay $50/join but if we shave we can offer a very attractive $100/join but still really only pay $50". What they don't notice is a lot of affiliates (obviously not large ones) STILL look at conversions, not RPC (revenue per click) when comparing sponsors and will drop them even if they make the same money if the ratio looks bad. Thus their shaving doesn't necessarily help them
That said, as you guys show solid conversions from the different places we've sent you traffic and pay in the $35-50 range, I would NOT suspect you guys of shaving anything...Skype variuscr - Email varius AT gmailComment
