In the end, he overlooked huge profit-taking by the oil industry he was beholden to, embraced the failed strategies of the neo-cons, and deregulated the banking sector to the point that the entire economy is in the gutter.
Bush's solution? Impose more record debt on the middle class to bail-out the corporate elite to the tune of hundreds of billions of dollars.
Bin laden has run free, while over 4,000 us troops have been killed (and tens of thousands more maimed) in the fabricated green-zone "democracy" of iraq.
