    German Authorities Threaten Madonna If She Uses The Cross

    Lawds Mercy Madonna might be in troubles!

    Apparently she's being threatened not to appear on stage strapped onto a cross like she has everywhere else she's toured. They claim it violates some German law against insulting religious beliefs.

    Madonna says she's going to use the cross, and that the germans can go fuck themselves.

    It looks like it's aiming up to be a standoff!

    In show of support, I'll be insulting various religions in this thread.

                                                                  Washington, D.C. (AHN) - President Bush signs a bill that transfers ownership of a giant cross and war memorial in San Diego to the federal government.

                                                                  Atheist Philip Paulson has been fighting the presence of the cross since 1989, when he sued the city.

                                                                  A series of courts have ruled the 29-foot cross is unconstitutional because it is located on public property.

                                                                  Rep. Brian Bilbray, R-Calif., says after a signing ceremony for the legislation, "Just because something may have a religious connotation doesn't mean you destroy it and tear it down."

                                                                              Germany is not a country that even pretends to have freedom of speech, any artist who performs there should not be surprised by censorship. Although I'm sure Madonna's PR agents will get this in as many magazines and newspapers as possible. Because they're fighting the good fight, not for PR.
