don't worry, i always pay my logo contests, ask machinegunkelly, he's the one who won my rankhigh.com logo contest, and there's several other designers here I've paid on time every time for regular logos as well. just waiting for the customer to make his decision (8/31) and if for some reason the customer was to flake, i would cover the $500 myself. that's just the way I do business, you guys put a lot of effort into these things and I want to keep everyone making good logos for me whenever i need them.HIGH QUALITY ADULT AND NON-ADULT DESIGN/MARKETING WORK SINCE 1997!!

hi everyone thanks again for all those great entries.
I called and talked to someone from the chamber both yesterday and today and they didn't get a chance to pick a winner at yesterday's meeting and they postponed making their decision to their 9/5 meeting...so I promise that I will keep calling before and after all their future meetings and if they haven't picked a winner by 9/30, I will pick one myself. Alright folks, sorry for the delay. I finally got my Chamber newsletter last week and they announced the winner: Britta Nauta from Anchor Design. I'm very dissapointed we weren't the winners cuz I really thought the logos we came up with were quite good. I didn't post right away cuz I've been trying to get a copy of the winning logo so we could all see it when I posted this but they haven't released it yet.
Anyway, I might be interested in purchasing some of the logos you guys did for future projects so ICQ me if you're interested. I'll probably pay $100, more or less depending on how much I like it. I'll need the files to say "Your Company Name" instead of "Lake Tahoe Chamber of Commerce" and I'll need the PSD's (or AI files) and fonts used please. Paypal is my payment of choice but I can work with anyone without a paypal account (epassporte, xoom, check, etc). If you don't have icq, you can email your payment info to [email protected].
I know this is dissapointing to me and everyone else, this win would have really helped me land more logo jobs and establish my reputation in town for logo work. Either way, I intend on passing future logo jobs on to this forum when I do get them...and to prove i'm not full of shit, i scanned the newsletter which shows the winner:
