maybe try working more instead of watching TV?
After I read millions and MILLIONS of dollars are being allocated to provide the poor with digital tv boxes, I became discusted with the entire ordeal.
Why should tax dollars be used to provide tv for poor people?
I mean, really, anyone else see this as silly? Theyve actually depleted the coupon vouchers because there are sooooo many claiming they cant "afford" $40

The federal program to help consumers prepare their older television sets to receive digital broadcasts has run out of cash, weeks before a national civil rights group was to open two centers in San Antonio to help residents with the transition.
The U.S. Department of Commerce's National Telecommunications and Information Administration announced Monday the program that gives away $40 coupons to help pay for digital converter boxes has reached its funding limit and that new applicants are being put on waiting lists.
Imelda Morales, who is helping coordinate the local transition centers for the Leadership Conference on Civil Rights Education Fund, said the news means some San Antonio residents will be left without TV reception once analog broadcasting ends Feb. 17.
“As always, the greatest impact will be on the poor,” Morales said. “People with analog TVs are the ones with more of a need than anyone else. If you have cable, you don't need it and, more than likely, you can afford the box.”
