    Why is Bush on vacation.

    If he knew all about this terror plot for over a week, why in the fuck did he go on vacation. Then again, he was on vacation when he knew there was a stage 4 hurricane heading towards New Orleans.

    Do the troops get a week or 2 of vacation over there in Iraq.

    My feeling is, if you want the job of pres. it's a 365 day a year job for 4 years. You think our enemies are taking days off?

      Honestly do you think the pres can think with his head straight if he would be working 365 days for 8 years in a row ? Everyone needs a break, and even thought he isn't in the white house, I'm sure he still has daily meetings.

                      Fuck the vacations. Him and his administration have the whole world fucked up, sit in your office and at least look like your doing something.

                              I lived in DC for a number of years, all prior to the heavy security seen today. Most don't realize even then there was no place for the First Family to go outside. No secure place at all.

                              Call it a vacation, they leave the White House just to be outside ....
