The ignorance here is dangerous. The Israelis have ALWAYS been known as a defensive force, they would and have given up anything for peace. If you don't know or remember, they gave up a huge portion of the gaza strip just to make a peace settlement. Some thought it was crazy, since Israel is already tiny, but they did it in an effort to make peace with their neighbors. Now Hezbollah starts bringing troops in to their territory and kidnaps soldiers. Israel will not get taken advantage of, nor walked over. If you didn't realize, Hezbollah are terrorists. There are casualties of war, no kidding, thats what happens. Innocent Israelis are getting killed also, we just don't position our military next to civilian residences, like the Hezbollah does. They don't care for human life, they have no value for it. We should let people like this stay in power?

The gazastrip is occupied territory since ~30 years back or something ;). And there's a very old U.N. resolution #242 that's states that all isrealoccupied territory should be given back. Israel have choosen to build settlements there instead though
