I'm a newbie myself but I guess I'll try to answer as much as I can.

I don't believe there's a thing such as too many hardlinks. As long as you have content on your site and you're not just using a site with a bunch of hardlinks it should be cool.

This, I dunno. I'm guessing more hardlinks would be better cause there are more words for seo results. I know my site doesn't offer 'free porn clips' but I have a hardlink with that name and that generates some traffic from msn searchers searching for 'free porn clips'.

Not necessarily. There is a complex algorithm that google uses for rankings. One site links to one, then it links back. I don't fully understand it yet but if you search for PR rankings in google, there should be a few tutorials that explain it better than me.

Link these guys up. It should raise the PR ranking of all of them if they're all linked up.

Then also link to the other ones I guess.

From what I remember, it doesn't help PR if there's no back and forth linking. Better to link to your new site then have your new site link back to the bigger ones.

Dunno about this one. Took my site a few weeks. Maybe if a high ranking site linked to your new site it would be indexed faster.
